Deck the Halls with Graded Essays

Just a quick note to say hello and give an update on the grading. I've been plugging along like the Little Engine That Could, and have reached about 48% completion. I thought you might enjoy a visual...four class sets of papers times three different assignments equals:

Maybe not as huge a stack as you expected, or maybe so. It might as well be six feet tall. I'm whining, but I've really made quite a bit of progress and if I'd just stop updating my blog, I might actually finish another class set.

What does it say about me that I purposely arranged a graded essay on top so no Internet cretin would try to utilize it for his own greedy purposes? Full of the holiday cheer, I am. At least you get the benefit of seeing all the voluminous comments peppering every line. No checkmark at the top of these babies. My purple pen bleeds all over it. Merry Christmas, little ones, your teacher brought you a stockingful of constructive commentary this year.

Maybe Santa will bring me a sudden burst of productivity and I can finish all these up by the end of Christmas Day. I wonder what he charges to lease a few unemployed elves for a few hours.

Anywho, must get back to work. We're setting out for the hinterlands this evening, back by tomorrow afternoon. You know what that means! Lots of car grading!
